CNC mounts for small radio control units?

I've been working on building a strong yet lightweight mount for a small radio control unit on my 2020 KRX. I started with a bunch of paper prototypes before finally settling on a design I had CNC-cut from metal. Honestly, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm curious if anyone else out there is using CNC mounts or has any tips for creating something durable and lightweight.

Really paper prototyping is underrated and aluminum to keep weight down will be a good idea so you won't sacrifice strength. If you haven't already, try adding a few lightening holes or cutouts in the low stress areas too, helps shave some weight and still keep the rigidity.

I'll add another piece of advice and that's to use rubber to reduce vibrations, which is pretty important with electronics. Any kind of isolators will work, so don't beat yourself too much to try and look for something specific.
