Front seat drop on 2021 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 Trail Edition

My buddy's 2021 Trail Edition got an aftermarket cage and now his helmet touches the roof on bumps. Can the factory seat rails be adjusted or do you need new mounts?

A friend of mine faced a similar issue after he installed a roll cage, his helmet would keep banging against the ceiling whenever he hit a bump. The factory seat rails don't offer much in terms of height adjustment, so he ended up getting some adjustable seat mounts to lower his seat and create more clearance. You might want to consider getting new mounts or drop brackets to gain that extra space

Factory rails won't really do him so much... A set of low-profile or adjustable seat bases is the way to go if he wants more headroom.

Appreciate both of you confirming that for me. Helpful to know that new seat bases are the way to go. Are there any specific brands you guys have had good luck with?
