Me and the gang are planning a 7 day 12k km trip this summer. Question, aside from the usual spares like a tire, belt, and air filter, what else should I bring? I actually got a list of some but Im posting here in case I forget anything, and ofc some DIY hacks from your experience as well

Wow, that sounds like an amazing adventure with the KRX! When I'm gearing up, I don't just stick to the basics, I make sure to grab a tire plug kit and a portable air compressor, just in case. It's also smart to have spare fuses, wheel bearings, and a CVT tool on hand. And let's not forget those extra fluids, brake, coolant, oil, you never know when you might need them! Oh, and definitley pack some zip ties and duct tape, you'd be amazed at what you can fix with those.
Here's a little DIY trick: wrap some duct tape around the handle of a wrench for easy access, and slide zip ties into the roll cage tubes. It's a game changer!
And hey, have you got your recovery gear ready? I wouldn't dream of heading out without my tow strap and some soft shackles.

@TrailKraken pretty much sums up what I have in mind. Also, that's a nice DIY trick. will take note of that for our next trip
Also: gloves, a tarp or mat to crawl under the car if needed, and something to keep your tools organized so you're not fishing in the dark, well GPS is cute until you lose signal, print a basic map, just in case who knows just like in those horror movies haha

Have you started your tour?
If my ideas aren't too late, I suggest you consider bringing a spare clutch cable and throttle cable.
Those are notorious for snapping at the worst times and can get you stranded!
Also, a small multi-tool, zip ties, and electrical tape are invaluable for roadside fixes.
For DIY hacks, a small bottle of super glue can temporarily fix cracked plastics, and a piece of old inner tube can be cut for makeshift gaskets if needed.

Thanks so much, thats super helpful advice! I havent started the tour just yet, but it's coming up soon. I hadn't thought about spare cables, so i'll definitely add those to my list. Do you have any other must-haves or lessons learned from the road that saved you in a pinch?
