Heat concerns on KRX Trail radio

I just finished installing my Rugged Radios intercom and dual-band radio, using their remote head units so I could tuck the main boxes away. I fabricated a mount for them in that huge space under the center console on my Trail, figuring it's well-protected from water. My main worry now is heat. I know those radiator hoses run right through that area, and I'm wondering if anyone else has mounted electronics there and experienced issues with overheating. The radio has a fan, and I tried to leave some breathing room between units, but there aren't many perfect spots that offer both ventilation and water protection. Any long-term feedback on how hot that specific area gets, especially with electronics stashed there? Thanks for any insight!

Yeah, that area might heat up a bit from the coolant pipes. But with fans and some space, it should be okay. Just keep an eye on the temps after you've been running it for a while, and maybe add a small vent if you need to

I know you already put everything back together and all, but I'd say put some heat resistant material back there as a precaution. This combined with some vents or even a fan would do wonders in keeping the electronics in normal temps.
